Über mich
Ich beschäftige mich seit knapp 20 Jahren in Industrie, angewandter Forschung und Beratung mit dem Thema technisches Asset Management. Als Wirtschaftsingenieurin habe ich 2009 an der TU Braunschweig zum Thema Life Cycle Management und Instandhaltung promoviert.
Heute bin ich Professorin an der Hochschule Furtwangen und mitverantwortlich für den VDI-Zertifikatslehrgang „Betriebsingenieur“. Neben einer Vielzahl wissenschaftlicher Veröffentlichungen im Bereich Anlagen- und Instandhaltungsmanagement halte ich regelmäßig Fachvorträge für Praxis und Wissenschaft.
Was mich dabei antreibt, ist die Verbindung von fundierter wissenschaftlicher Methodik mit praxistauglichen Lösungen für Unternehmen – mit dem Ziel, technische Assets wirtschaftlich, nachhaltig und strategisch sinnvoll zu managen.
Darüber hinaus bin ich Fellow der International Society of Engineering Asset Management sowie aktives Mitglied im VDI-Arbeitskreis Instandhaltung.
About me
I have been working in the field of technical asset management for almost 20 years, combining experience from industry, applied research, and consulting. I hold a doctorate in industrial engineering and earned my PhD in 2009 at TU Braunschweig, focusing on life cycle management and maintenance.
I am currently a professor at Furtwangen University of Applied Sciences and co-responsible for the VDI certificate program “Betriebsingenieur.” In addition to numerous scientific publications in the areas of asset and maintenance management, I regularly give expert lectures for both academic and professional audiences.
My motivation lies in bridging rigorous scientific approaches with practical, implementable solutions – supporting organizations in managing their technical assets efficiently, sustainably, and strategically.
I am also a Fellow of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management and an active member of the VDI working group on maintenance.
